Screen capturing is an essential feature of any operating system. It helps troubleshooters fix problems remotely, allows us to make neat tutorials and in general, it is just a cleaner way to save interesting snippets right from the monitor to the storage. Most importantly, memes are created that way. We’ll be exploring a few tips in screen capturing – or taking a screenshot, if you will.
I’m looking forward to all of Mavericks’ features, so let’s co-title it. Mavericks – The top new features of the next Mac OS X.
This year at WWDC, Apple unveiled a lot of things they’re bringing out for the rest of the year. Honestly, I’m the most thrilled about the next version of OS X. Sure iOS had a major overhaul, but I won’t be thinking about it until and unless I own an iOS device.
The iTunes Store has finally brought purchases to India.
iTunes was already used by millions of users sporting iOS devices but were not able to make use of its store features. We couldn’t buy music, movies or TV shows from the store though we could already buy apps – although, I’m pretty sure paid apps were not needed anyways. Still, there were a few of us geeks – us included – who knew the key to unlocking those features.
Chrome – apparently the best browser known to humankind. It’s so awesome, Google is in the works to turn it into a full operating system – Chrome OS. I won’t argue that; after all, majority wins even though they’re wrong most of the time, especially here. I’m actually starting to love the fact that people are moving away from Windows Internet Explorer; I actually like to have it all to myself. Thing is, it actually does take a special skill to stick to Windows IE.
