Upgrading Macs to the latest version is quite easy.

Today we will show you how create a bootable Mac OS Sierra USB.

This method can is very useful if you have to upgrade many Macs.

Use a USB drive that does not have any important information as this process will erase the data.

All you need to do is run this command with replaced by the target drive.

Be careful while running this command and see that you have selected the right volume or USB device.

This process can not be undone.

sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/recovery_drive --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sierra.app
Ready to start. To continue we need to erase the disk at /Volumes/recovery_drive. If you wish to continue type (Y) then press return: Y Erasing Disk: 0%… 10%… 20%… 30%…100%… Copying installer files to disk… Copy complete. Making disk bootable… Copying boot files… Copy complete. Done.

Reboot with kbd Option / Alt key held down and choose the USB drive.
